I have had luck fixing slow draining sinks by filling the sink with hot water remove the stopper then plunge with a toilet plunger, repeat if necessary.

Hi,

We recently purchased a Jayco 8SD popup and took it out for camping for the first time a few days ago. This is the first popup we have ever owned and there was a lot of "figuring out" while camping. About 50% of the time was spent "figuring out"...

Our sink is not draining as well. Since it has never been used, we don't think its a clog. The water just pools in the sink. Is there a valve I need to turn on to release the drain water? A stopper underneath I need to unplug?

Please help!

Welcome to the forum.

I'm not familiar with your trailer, but if it has a gray water tank, are you sure the gray water tank is empty?

This is the first time you've used the trailer, but did you do a PDI at the dealer and did the drain work then?

Hi oldmanAZ,

I don't think I have a grey water tank, is that for storing waste water? The salesman just told me that the sink water just flows directly to the ground. The only other thing he told me was how to open the fresh water tank and how to fill it.

I found another thread and it seems to be a problem with the 8SD models.
