Eagle Premier

Just back from RV show and was impressed with the Eagle Premier. Planning on full time for about 5 years, does anyone know if this is warranted for full time use?

JAYCO has the disclaimer on all their units that they are not designed for full time use. It probably has alot to do with codes and other legalities.

Not warranted for full time. But I full time in mine, hasn't been a problem with warranty work. I think only time you would have a problem would be a complaint like carpet wearing out or something like that.

Have to wonder If the disclaimer is a strategy that steers the buyer to a Pinnacle? I think today's Premier is build every bit as well as "yesterdays" Pinnacle.

We spend 50-60 nights each year in ours and plan on using as a full time unit in a couple years.

PINNACLE's owner's manual says the exact same thing. "Built to RVIA standards and codes as a Recreational Vehicle and not for full time occupancy". Or something close to that. It also says full time use can be a reason to deny warranty claims.

Grand Design says their units are approved for "Extended Stay"...whatever that means. :-)

Officially bummed. Just happened to walk thru a large dealer a few days ago and left with a Pinnacle brochure. Now focused more on the words and less on the pictures, Not a word about fulltime but many about camping in luxury and extending your camping season.

As has been mentioned, if you full time it will probably not be an issue there are many who do. More of that language is a CYA for JAYCO because of RVIA codes vs Modular home codes.
