Extended Warranty for Jayco

We are purchasing a Jayco Jay Feather Ultra Lite 197 & have been asked if we wanted to purchase an extended warranty for it for $1795 for 7 years? Wondering if any other Jayco owners purchased an extended warranty, with whom? Do we need one? How well are the jayco's holding up?

Thanks,
Josie Devlin

Jayco provides a two year warranty. If it was me, I'd skip it.

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum Josie. Most people don't buy the extended warranty. Usually if you have problems, they seem to pop in the first two years. Congrats on the new tt

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum. We have decided not to get an extended warranty for our new Jayco.

Take that $1795 and put it in some kind of account. Even with todays poor interest you'll be better off in 7 years.

That is some good advise.
