Finally stopped lurking

I am officially introducing ourselves. I've been lurking on the forum since April 2011, also when we purchased our 2011 JayFeather Select 29L. We drove 800 miles one way and spent $400 on fuel to get it but saved thousands so it made it worth it. Bought from Richardson RV through Indiana RV connection and drove to Middlebury to pick it up. Didn't even know we could have done a factory tour but we sure would have. Oh well maybe on the next one we buy! We didn't take any long trips in 2011, other than the 800 miles to get back home and we wally-docked in Hannibal, MO. This year though we are planning a 3,000+ mile round trip to California so that should be an adventure, cant wait!

Welcome to the JOF JammFam! We did as you; bought through Richardsons and picked it up at the Indiana RV Connection. The $$ we saved not having to pay for shipping not only paid for our gas to Indiana and back to Cali, but pretty much had a free vacation cg's/food/etc. It helped that we had three weeks to kill though. Hahaha "Wally Docked"... I like that.
