first time camper owner in MI with an x23b

In 5 hours I leave to go do the walk through and pick up our new x23b. My wife and I used to do some backpacking and since our son was born we've done some tent camping. We're hoping this opens up some nice weekend trips away from things as well as gets our now 3yr old son used to the idea of heading out from 'home' and socializing with new kids on every trip.

We've got our maiden voyage all setup at a local campground starting tomorrow and can't wait. I'll have pics later on I'm sure. Now...how does one concentrate on work when a giant new toy is calling out to you?

Welcome to the club. We have the x20e, which is the smaller version of the 23. Good luck with your outing and let us know how it goes.

I'm actually sitting by the campfire right now browsing the forums.

Well, the battery problem was a blown fuse in the fuse inline with the positive cable. Swapped out and good to go. First problem tackled!

Congratulations! We just got an X20E last month so I know that feeling of anxiousness to get out and use it. Lots of fun!

I bet you will love that 23B. Our son loves that back bunk, it is his own little private play.

Yea, he hopped up there while prepping yesterday and you forget how small a little 3yr can be. It's a big space and hopefully he'll have some good times playing some trains up in there.
