From a 1987 Jayking Deluxe TT to a 5er!

Hello Jayco Family! My wife and I pick up our 2017 Eagle HT 28.5 RSTS tomorrow afternoon in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Have never pulled a fifth wheel in my life but traded a 30' Keystone Cougar Travel Trailer in on it so have some experience on the road. Hoping my 2013 F-150 PU is not too undersized for the 5er. Dealer told me I would be fine (HT and took the vin to check) but only time will tell. Any and all advice is welcome, from setting up to simply unhooking from the dang hitch! Happily retired and looking for places to visit. Thanks for the Welcome, Snake!

Congratulations! One tip I have: when making really tight turns, be sure your hitch is slid back otherwise the corner of the 5er can poke thru your back window of the truck. Have a friend that happened to. Lesson learned for the rest of us.
