Glad to be a member!

stopped by to see if anyone can shed some light on a slide out issue.

purchased my jayco 2 months ago.

2012 32 bhds.

the dining room slide out seems to be stuck on the top but not at the bottom as if the seal is melted to the side of the trailer.

It worked fine a couple of times right after I got it home but now even on days when its above 50 degrees it wont come out.

any suggestions would be most helpful and yes this is my first TT.

Hey DaddyMo! Welcome to the forum! Glad you found us...

Is it under warranty? If so, the dealer should take care of it....others here may be able to have more info...

Well you are right...as I always say --- "It is better to be seen than to be viewed..."...

Better take a look on top of it, maybe a trim piece fell down or the safety bar is in there.

Yes it is under warranty but the dealer is in upstate NY and I live at the Jersey Shore so its a bit of a hike.
Can i take it to any authorized dealer?

Welcome. I had a similar situation with my large slide and it was the result of the top left corner being too high. It is most likely going to need adjustment and by a dealer. I too bought mine in Albany but had a local dealer do that work as well as the other warranty work when required through my 2 year period.

In my case I always called ahead to schedule the work and explained what was going on. If you are refused you could contact Jayco directly and advise your case to which they may authorize a non Jayco local dealer to do your work. Any of the ways you go in most cases Jayco has done the right thing, hopefully that is still the case.

Jayco may provide you a work order number ahead of any dealer contact through customer service which might help with building the local realtionship.

Good Luck.
