Like Roy, I always loved tent camping, I still have all 3 of my tents that we used, but it got to the point that I had to buy a small utility trailer to haul all my camping gear, then packing, unpacking, setting up, taking down, packing and unpacking again to clean up became quite a chore.

The first camp trailer was a pop-up, mostly because I really liked the feel of a tent, but there again, it was so much work.

Now with my current trailer, I don't have any of the previous issues, I really have begun to enjoy camping again, very little setup and take down, no wet tent canvas, everything's is ready to go, impromptu trips can be on the road within an hour...

I still plan on taking the boys up to the mountains and sleeping in the tents again, but not sure when that will happen. I think it's good for them to enjoy the real tenting experience.

We bought a 17z for our get away weekends to South Bass Island, Jeep Fest and a few other locals when we're not at our seasone site. We absolutely love the camper. Granted, it's just my wife & I and every now and again our 21 YO daughter will join us. Other than being tight on load capacity, it's a great unit and you'll be very happy! Congrats!
