Greetings from Maine.

Hello all, my girlfriend and I have just gotten our first ever travel trailer!
A 1988 Jayco 2450 "Special". No fancy bird name that I can find. It needs quite a bit of work but the price was right so here we are. Still trying to figue out what tires to put on it and that's why we're here. Hope to see you soon in our beautiful state.

Happy Trails,
Dana and Jodie.

Welcome and congrats on your new travel trailer! Don't forget to post some pics of it for us to see.

We are camping in Old Orchard Beach from yesterday until next weekend.

I don't know a lot about tires, but a lot of people here swear by Maxxis tires.

Happy 4th!!

We were in Wells Beach just a few weeks ago. You should travel south just a bit and hit up Fishermans Catch Restaurant in Wells. Their seafood is absolutely amazing and very reasonable. If you are craving a gigantic burger, Wild Willies in York is the place to go.

Congratulations on the new to you trailer and welcome!

I have Maxxis tires and so far am very happy with them. I personally never had any trouble with TowMax, but given all the troubles folks on this forum have had with them, I would never buy them.

Actually our love is north, fewer people. More wildlife, fishing and solitude. Boon-docking looks interesting but I'm not sure the trailer will make it. Well have to get it up and mobile before anything else. Have a great summer!
