Greetings from Oregon

Hello everyone, my wife and I just purchased our first TT today, 2016 28BHKS. We're very excited to start this new adventure and I'm super stoked to find such a professional well put together forum! First trip is planned for March, seems like forever away. We have been married 9 years and tent camping has treated us well. Can't believe next time we go I'll have a tv!? Who am I?? Hello again and looking forward to hearing from everyone around this beautiful US of A!

Congratulations and welcome! We've only been camping for a couple of years, but are having a blast exploring our beautiful country.

That's great news on your new TT. Is your first trip going to be on the coast?

TwinCommander, I really like the Jayco so far. My wife and I spent8 hours at the dealer walking back and forth between 3 trailers and eventuallyit hit us what we needed to do. That being said I have yet to take it out butalready I’ve spent at least three hours sitting in it, picking it apart andinspecting every nook and cranny on it, well-built machine with TONS of storageand options. They really put some forethought into this design.

Mustang65, thank you. I will post some pictures of my set up here soon. I have so many questions and things I need to find out. Excited to cruise through this place to find everything I need.

Tunce, first trip is Silver Creek Falls Oregon. Next trip is Beverly Beach Oregon Coast then heading up to Ft. Stevens on the coast. One a month is our goal this year!

Been to Beverly Beach several times now and love it. Don't forget to take your bikes to Fort Stevens so you can ride those miles of trails and their all flat and in the trees. I envy your home base right there on I-5, takes me one day just to get to your place. My dog loves the freedom of the beach.
I'll be starting my 2 month trip south in April at Fort Stevens.
