Greetings from Sparks Nevada
We just bought a slightly tired but very workable Lite Hawk 24RK. We picked it up Friday evening. I've put two days into cleaning and things are coming along. AC and the fridge work but I haven't lit the water or cabin heaters yet. I spent most of yesterday repairing a poorly done back up repair on the starboard rear quarter. It will look fine when I'm done. I'm going to wax and buff the exterior, sterilize the tanks, clean the upholstery, rip up the wall to wall carpet and put down hard flooring (suggestions welcome), then load it up and take off for a week. I can't imagine why somebody would put down cheap carpet. There must have been some problem with the flooring or somebody with cold feet? Anyway, we had a Bounder about ten years ago but found it not to our liking. I was favoring a 20 footer but the wife wanted the walk around full bed. Hey, when Momma's happy Poppa's happy.
