Hello everyone. Nice to be aboard! My name is Doug and my wife and I live in the Toronto area. We full timed in a 2008 35 RLTS Designer fifth wheel and Ram DRW for two years. Absolutely rock solid setup. Couldn't have been happier with the Designer. We started in June of 2008, summered in the Canadian Rocky mountains and wintered in the beautiful American southwest. It was heaven! We loved every second of it! My wife's father took ill in 2011. That, coupled with some other issues forced us to stay close. We sold the rig and bought a house here in the Toronto region at that time. Well, to make a long story short, we have looked after our family obligations, and are just now starting to plan our return to the fulltime lifestyle. Expecting to hit the road in the spring of 2017. We can't wait! We have never been happier than the times we spent in the trailer. We're definitely thinking fifth wheel and truck again. We both really like the front living model. If we were to buy today, it would be the Pinnacle 38FLSA. We both agree, we want a brand new trailer. As for the truck, definitely a late model DRW diesel. Likely a couple years old this time, to ease the depreciation factor. Anyway, lots to do over the next year or two. Get rid of a lot of furniture and other stuff, a few projects to complete on the house and (the fun part) hit the RV shows and figure out what setup will suit us best. So, that's the Reader's Digest version of our re-entrance into full timing. I'll be hanging around here and picking brains.
