Hello :)
54 year old repair plumber. Own a business in Charleston SC. First time NEWBIE. After going between motorhomes and TT, we (wife) settled on a used, 2010, 32 foot fiberglass Jayco Eagle. One large slide.
I have to say.... I am REALLY impressed. I researched for a solid year. Being very mechanical, I learned all I could BEFORE I bought one.
Proud to say, I bought it, set it all up, and it all cranking as if I was born inside of one. And the little things i see with Jayco I really like. Now I will say, since this it my first, for all I know, they ALL have those little things that I like
Point is all my research didn't reveal the little tiny things I adore so much. Just found out last night after being in it for three days that the sofa had a aero plug in mattress in the draw!!! Wow, I like. Don't know if previous owner added it or a Jayco addition, but for now, I'll credit Jayco, seems more logical.
Things I am NOT wild about and research didnt reveal. Or maybe it's not supposed to be. But that water pump is sure loud under the lav sink. Sounds like a vibrating mule.
Anyway, plan on traveling the country. We will see how it goes. After all, all the research in the world won't predict if my wife and I wind up strangling each other in a cramped up tin can. Well, fiberglass can..

Welcome to the forum. The water pumps do tend to be loud, and some of us have done silencing mods on them to quiet them down.

Welcome!
Search the forums and you'll find what other have done to quiet their water pumps. It's a common 'feature' of trailers. Rerouting water lines etc. should be no problem for you.

Congratulations! on the "new-to-you" trailer. I agree, the Eagle has a lot of nice little features that didn't show up in my "pre-purchase research". That AC outlet behind the sofa/bed is from the factory - comes standard when you get the hide-a-bed option in the pre-2014 units. Now, the hide-a-bed comes with a Denver innerspring mattress, so not sure if the still put the outlet there or not.
I've been full-timing in mine for about 6 months, now. The first few trips out, I didn't see a single Eagle TT. But the more I get around, the more Eagles I see . . . and everyone I've talked to just raves about their Eagle. Best of luck with yours, and Happy Camping!

Welcome to the forum. We took our water pump loose from the floor and placed it on a rubber pad and screwed it back down. Took about 90% of the noise away. No more problems.

Congratulations on the new to U rig. We were also surprised to find the blow up mattress and couch storage was also a plus. We purchased from the Trail Center and have been happy with their service after the sale.
What part of Charleston are you located? We are on James Island.
