We are new to Jayco but not new to camping. I am having some trouble getting used to pulling a 32 ft trailer. I hit a LARGE rock this week and bent my axel. Is there a way to make sure I always make a wide enough turn in tight places. Looking for good advise.
It takes practice. I would take 90° turns slow, and watch the trailer tires in your mirror as you're turning. That should help to keep you from hitting curbs, rocks, etc.
Barbara , sorry about your misfortune. You will get better at it the more you do it. Just watch before and during your turn and always make as wide a turn as the condition lets you. Their is a place around GR that can straighten axels . A friend of mine took his Sunny Brook in to get his axel tuned in because of uneven tire wear .
