Hello, from a 2017 Jayco White Hawk owner

I would like to know more about the converter. I am contemplating going to solar and would like to know more about the converter and if it is a smart charger too.

CONGRATULATIONS on the JAYCO!!!

...and WELCOME TO JOF!!! The members here are GREAT!!! There is a lot of GREAT information to be found here. I am sure that you will have information and pictures to share with us... so please do!!

Don

Yes your TT has a smart charge converter, SOLAR will require a separate charge controller. Below is a chart of how the Battery Charge controller works in my TT. If has been turned off since going SOLAR in 2012. We have a "RVing with SOLAR" Social group with a lot to SOLAR and battery information.
