Hello From Doug - I am back :-)

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. It's been a couple years. Julie and I sold our Jayco 16' trailer and bought a condo in Florida. We then bought a couple different boats and played with them for a little while. Recently bought a new tow vehicle, Toyota Tundra 5.7 V8, 6.5' Bed, Max Tow Pkg., Max Payload Pkg. It's a beast and will let me get away from towing with the 4Runner. We'll be looking to pick up a used Jayco probably next spring in the 24-27 foot range.
We did a trip out to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons this year at the beginning of June. We flew into SLC and drove in. Stayed at cabins the whole trip. We lost our sweet dog Penny in April of this year. Really missing my camping Buddy. She would have liked the new truck. Anyways, hoping to have another dog and camper by this time next year. Still plenty of things to see on our bucket list. Glad to be back in the forum and will be trying to catch up on everyone's adventures. Sorry if I missed anyone's private messages. Kind regards, Doug

Welcome back! I'm extremely sorry to hear about your fur baby... We have 5 now, and 7 in little oak boxes on the mantel. Gosh, can't imagine traveling without our furry buddies!

I have no doubt that you will find a perfect camper, and a perfect best friend!!

Welcome back! Other than the mileage, you'll love towing with the Tundra - wish I still had mine, but it was no match for the 5er.

Hey Doug.... One of the best trips we've had was our Yellowstone/Grand Tetons trip last year. We went the same time you did. My son-in-law pulled his TT and the spot he had in the Tetons was nothing short of spectacular with a front view of the snow covered mountains from his front door. I'd go again in a heartbeat!

Good Luck in your search for a new to you TT! Maybe you can snag one right here on our classified section?
