Hello from Manheim, PA

Hello, just bought our first Jayco travel trailer in early July - 264BHW Jay Flight SLX. Been camping since 2004 when we started with a Dutchmen pop-up; upgraded to Surveyor expandable at the end of 2011 and now in our third camper. We decided we didn't want to deal with any more slide outs or expandables - wanted something fully enclosed. Slide out leaked and that's no fun to deal with.

Went on our first trip with the new camper to Petticote Junction Campground in northern PA (our favorite camping spot). Loaded it up with two adults, 5 kids and a dog - great first trip! Here's a photo from that trip - you can see the kids kept us busy!

Hoping the forum discussions can help us learn more about camping and our camper!

We've only used it once so far. We had an expandable prior to this, so we had a little bit more room, so it's just something we have to adjust to. Plenty of storage, but a good deal of it is under the bunks or dinette, so again, just getting used to it. It towed really well (I have a Silverado 1500). The AC cools down the inside very easily. We really like the power awning.

Good luck with yours!

Welcome to JOF. Enjoy the rig. We have relatives near Philly and sure like to hear of camp grounds in the area. Not many to pick from that are advertised.

Well, if you go 50 miles west from Philly you come to Lancaster County, where we've got more campgrounds than you can shake a stick at.
