Hello from NJ

Hello everyone. I'm Chris, wife's name is Patti and 2 rescue pups Rambo and Riot. I started camping in a pop up at the age of 4 (36 now) with my parents and twin brother. Through the years my parents purchases different used trailers to better fit our family. I can remember completely rebuilding a few of them cause my dad said it was a good deal! Last trailer my parents had was a Jayco. Parents would let my brother and I and friends or girlfriends go camping for weeks or long weekends whenever we wanted. Sadly they sold it as work schedules and daily living put a stop on any camping trips.

Fast forward roughly 10 years. I meet my would be wife. We decide to join my uncle on a camping trip. He has a 27ft Layton. Wife and I along with brother and his fiancé decide to get our own tent sites and use my uncles trailer as a home base. What a great weekend we had. And I was actually camping again!

Here is the best part. My wife's aunt gets news of us tent camping and offers us a sweet deal on a 2000 Sunline Solaris 2670. The deal was its ours for FREE no leaks fully furnished with everything you can imagine. All I needed to do was remove dry rotted old tires and get new ones($500). We have been using this trailer for the last 3 years and now want an upgrade with a better floor plan to fit our lifestyle.

So today I joined the Jayco owners group and am working on a deal on a 2016 Jayco Jay Flight 29RKS. Trying to get the best deal I can get.

Hope everyone enjoyed my story and I look forward to getting advice and talking to everyone in the future

Again, welcome and congrats!

Welcome aboard neighbor! We are in Cherry Hill! Love the story! I met my wife 13 years ago, she was camping in a Coleman popup, I went with her in it for several years, in 2005 we decided to buy a new travel trailer, we purchased a 2005 Pilgrim 290BHSS, we needed bunks because she had 2 boys. we kept it till the end of last year, we decided it was time to buy a motorhome (My inlaws have one) so we bought a new 2015 Jayco Precept 35UN. Cannot wait for camping season! Every year we go for a at least a week at Cherrystone down on the tip of the Delmarva. Love that place, It was where I got sucked into the wonderful world of camping! Our friends just ordered a Jayco Eagle 360QBOK fifth wheel, they got a great deal at White Horse RV.
