Hello From NY
Hello all,
After 16 years of pop up camping we've purchased a new 2014 Jayco X17Z. I am looking forward to the help and advice I expect to get from this forum.
We had the trailer out in the Catskill Mountains for the three day Columbus day weekend. Everything worked perfectly.

Good for you, almost got the same camper after pop up. We ended up with the 184 bh, but still look at them

Welcome to the forum. What campground did you stay at in the Catskills? So far we've stayed at North South lake and Kenneth Wilson State Parks and the Rip Van Winkle Campground which were all very nice.

Just to give you a heads up Taconic Copake Falls State Park is open until November 30th. I took a ride down there this week to look at the sites. Not bad, very wooded with some nice sites that I can get my TT on. I'll be doing a couple weekends there before they close.

Chris, I have been to Copake falls also. It is very close to where we live. One year long age I was there around election day. It is very quiet there this time of year. I may get over there also for one last trip before we put the new camper away. It all depends on if I can fit in another trip. There is a nice hike there to Bash Bish falls.

We'd like to do the hike to the falls for sure. I like site 97 and 98 up in the back. Just a little info. there are a few state campgrounds that you can camp at for free now that their closed.

Congrats and welcome.
We've been camping in the Hudson Valley, Catskills and Adirondack's for more than 30 years ...... lots of great campgrounds in these areas.
