Hello from S Calif.

I finally got access to the sight. I could sign, but could not post. So here I am. Getting into this RV thing a little late, at 69. The wife has always wanted us to travel with a RV, and the dog. The kids are long gone. Just the dog, and cat in the house now. She finally talked me into buying a motorhome. I am now the proud owner of 02 Jayco. It is a 26 ft. It is in good shape, with 37,000 miles, and new Mitchlin tires. So far I can't find anything that doesn't work, but time will tell. I retired from the Unisys computor co. after 36 years. I have a mowing, and discing business I do now. This is for fire protection. I will be done for the year in a couple weeks, then I will have more time for the motorhome. Stan

You'll have a great time camping. 69 is still young, I retired 17 years ago. There is some great camping 12 months a year in southern CA. Desert in the winter and mountains in the summer.

Welcome Stan. Never to old to start camping! Hope you and your wife have a great time. Will both the dog and cat be riding along? We could never figure out the litter box situation for camping. Now we only have our dog and she loves it. Can't wait to hear about your travels!
