Hello from South Georgia!

Hi everyone,
My wife and I just bought our first camper, a Jayco Flight 32BHDS. We are completely new to the camping world, so I figured a forum like this would be the perfect resource. Looking forward to many good times in our camper.

Congrats on the new unit and welcome to the Forum. Loads of information in here and most of it is probably right! LOL. Have you had your first trip yet? If not, might want to spend a night out in the yard to just go through all the systems and make sure everything works. I know it is hot but in the mornings it is chilly and you could even fire up the furnace and let it run and cycle a few times to make sure it is working properly. Ask me how I know this! LOL.
Where are you from in Georgia? We live just above Cordele in the Vienna area. Love the hunting here. Retired from the Tampa area and moved up here to get away from all that traffic! One red light in the whole county now where I live. The folks back home can't even believe that!
Have a great Memorial Day Weekend.

I'm in a little bitty town of about 1500 between Savannah and Brunswick. One red light in the whole County as well. I absolutely love it. I grew up in a big city, and I much prefer country living. Trying the camper out in the yard is actually an excellent idea, thanks!
It will most likely be a few weeks before we take it out "for real", but I am so ready.

When you start figuring things out here, you can go to the User CP section and make up a signature section that will appear beneath each of your posts. Lets folks know a little about your unit, tow vehicle, etc.

Yeah, I have started on that. Very similar to a lot of internet forums out there. Thank you!

Congratulations and welcome to the forum.

This is one of the better forums, IMO. Generally folks here try to be helpful and friendly.

BTW, DW lived in Chamblee (St.Louis before that) and much prefers the country life here in AZ. As our youngest sons says, 'We live in the scenery.'
