Hello from South Idaho

Hello, we just purchased the Jayco Eagle 338RETS, the wife said no more tent...imagine that! We pick it up later this week. Looking forward to getting it setup. Will only be towing it twice a year, leaving it setup for the summer.

I have already found some great information and helpful tips on this forum, you've already helped save me 1800 bucks from the dealer!!

So glad I found you all!!! I appreciate any advice you have. Happy Campin!

Welcome!!

My DW said the same thing, and that's how we got here! We bought our TT, have been using it every chance we get, and we're never looking back. That is until my son grows up enough to go backpacking with his dear ol' dad!! Mom will stay comfortably in the TT while we're out...

We were really lucky when tent camping, did not experience any really bad weather until our last tent trip. Went with friends that had a TT, we had a tent, rained heavy that night, DW woke up with wet feet, said we need a TT! So we started on the TT road.

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.

Welcome to JOF and wish you some great camping experiences. There are a lot of knowledgeable folks here and some that don't know much but will be glad to tell you about it any way.

When we lived in Boise, I used to fly fish a lot. Some of my best days were on the south fork of the Boise river. Browns, Cutthroats, rainbows, all native. Incredible fishing in Idaho everywhere.
