Hello from the Emerald Coast

Hi all, a year and a half ago DW and I moved to Northwest Florida from Virginia. We had an Evergreen travel trailer. We sold it thinking we wanted a sailboat. Well the RV bug has bitten again. This Tuesday, we take delivery of a 2016 Jayco Redhawk 29XK Class C. Looking forward to getting back out to the campgrounds and parks; and chatting with all the good folks here at the Jayco Forum.

Cheers,

Charlie and Meg

Got a deal from Dixie RV Seem to be nice folks. Easy to negotiate with. Helps that in a previous life, many years ago, I sold trucks for a Chevy dealer

Congrats on the new unit and welcome to the forum. We just got back from Carrabelle RV Resort and spent some time at Destin last year. Beautiful area.

Thanks all. Well, picked it up yesterday (Tuesday) Had a great PDI. The tech they assigned to us was very thorough and knowledgeable. PDI lasted a good 2 hours. Took lots of notes. Brought it home to install a few small accesories and load up the essentials. All we have to do now is add food and clothes and we can be off.

Here are a couple of photos
