Hello from Vancouver Island (Comox)

Hello fellow campers. My wife and I just purchased a used 2015, Jay Series 12HSB. We are hoping to hear from other Aframe owners...what to look out for and 'hints and tricks' which will make ownership far more rewarding. Over the years, we have primarily camped using tents, tent trailers and as of late, a Leesurelite Excel. This little camper seems like the Hilton for us! We look forward to future adventures!

Hello from Arizona. Congratulations on the Aframe and welcome to the JOF.

YEARS ago we had a wonderful time camping on Vancouver Island; especially at Pacific Rim. Some day we hope to get back there.

Wishing for Arizona sunshine!

Pacific Rim National Park is indeed beautiful. But again, the warmth and dryness of Arizona would be a nice change after our rainy winter. Hopefully, our little Aframe will keep us warm and dry should rain come our way. Thanks for the greeting!

Another mainlander here. Welcome looking forward to dry weather. Although this week I will be in Tucson AZ. Hoping to spend some of my retirement months in AZ. If they ever get there. I turn 50 this year so it feels like the end is getting closer now even if it is a long ways away yet.

Wow, must be nice to be able to retire, I had dreams to retire at 55, but we sold and bought a new house almost 3 yrs ago and took a little mortgage so I want to pad up my pension a bit more before I do. Our house has exploded in value and we live in the burbs of Vancouver. Owning a house is out of reach for our kids now unless we give them a leg up. A house in our neighbourhood just sold for $252,000 over asking! The previous owner of our house sold it because they did retire at 55, bought a new huge 5th wheel and new truck to be a snowbird and lives in the basement of his son's house when he is home in Canada. I am also doing a renovation of our home too.

We aren't yet retired just on a holiday right now. Hopefully I can retire at 60, but living in the kids basement might be part of our plan.
