Hello from west Texas
Hello everyone,
Im Derek, I live out in the oil fields of west Texas and I am a natural gas engine and compressor mechanic. My wife and I have 2 young ones, Kyndall (5yo) and Hunter (7yo) my mom and dad started RV'ing and we went with them a few times and had a blast, thats how we ended up where we are (lol)-
we just purchased a '16 264BHW. I read a bunch on these forums and we decided on a Jayco. we just picked it up saturday in central Texas and camped our way back home. so far we love it. Im pulling it with a 06 ram 2500 with the 5.9. I look forward to reading, learning and hopfully helping when I can!!

Welcome to you and your family for a fellow Texan, down here in Houston. I am a turbomachinery control specialist and safety instrumented systems engineer so I know exactly what you do and how hard you work. My first job out of school was at Stewart and Stevensons Gas Turbine Division. I loved that job.
