Hello new 19xud owner in Alaska

Hello my wife and I just purchased a J feather 7 19XUD, thought I would join this forum because this is my first Jayco, and previously I had a 2005 Fleetwood Bayside pop up camper so I will probably be having lots of ?'s. Already upon receiving the trailer from the dealer, one of the speakers inside is not working, they are calling a service center for me to see about getting it fixed, I can see some electrical wires by the water tank underneath the trailer an there is one red wire just hanging loose from the rest, wondering if this might be the problem.

Welcome to the JOF!

Not sure if that's the speaker wire. I don't think they'd run a speaker wire underneath. But, I may be wrong. But if it's red, it's important. Is everything else running ok? Brake lights, etc.?

toyota fj jayco jay feather 7 19xud

Here are some pics of our 19xud dry camping @ 9000 ft. We had a back carrier installed for our generator - support on the bumper and fame with extra around the bumper. Had the axles flipped for extra clearance with new extra length C type jacks installed for support. We pull with our Toyota FJ in the mountains and a Toyota 4 Runner. It is an easy pull in the mountains even with a full load of water. We have had to do small repairs eg cap on the front had a gap which we had to close and the bed end canvas plastic split at the top where the screws were installed. Pulls very nice down the road with little or no problem with the wind due to the height with the flipped axles.

Enjoy,
Toyota FJ

Looks really nice. Where did you get the rain flys for the tents. I think those would help a lot when it rains for 3 days straight in Portage.
