Talking Hey All Y'all

I'm a NewBee on this forum. We just recently purchased a Jayco Jay Flight 19RD and we like it a whole bunch. Better than grits and red eye gravy! Our first trip was to Fort Clinch State Park on the St Mary's River and Amelia Island FL and then we went to Stephen C. Foster State Park in the Okefenokee Swamp. Fernandina Beach is a really neat town. I recommend you to go either to the Crab House or the Salty Pelican and try their Shrimps Po Boy or the Oyster Po Boy. They both use locally caught wild Fantail Shrimps and not that imported junk from the Pacific Rim Countries. We rented a motorized Jon boat in the Okefenokee from the state park and took our own tour. This time of year, the mosquito population is almost non existent. The Seminoles called this place the Land of the Trembling Earth and surprisingly there are some islands in it which can be explored. Our good friends who also own a Jayco showed us their new Portable Fire Pit which they bought from Lowes when we visited them at Fort Clinch. This fire pit is truly the best thing since sliced bread. It is made by Garden Treasures and sold at Lowe's. I sincerely urge you to check it out.

Congratulations on the Jay Flight and welcome to the JOF.

We were in FL in Oct, but Ft.Wilderness was as far south as we got this trip. The DW REALLY wants to visit the Okefenokee. Thanks for the tip on the Jon boat and doing your own tour.
