Hey From Georgia

Good morning all. Just joined and excited. I purchased a new Jay flight 24 RBS, unfortunately it was damaged on lot before pick up. Now I have a two week wait for the side panel to come in and be replaced.

This has not dampened my excitement though.....I look forward to learning all about the TT and making a few mods, and taking him out. His name is "Bout Time"

I have owned two pop-ups previously, and due to shoulder injury I needed something more automated. Experienced camper, but love to hear about others adventures and travels as well as ideas on making RV travel more enjoyable.

Looking forward to the interactions.

Giljmo.

Hey From Georgia

Welcome and congrats. That's a tough way to start but hopefully they get it squared away the first try.

I'm guessing they didn't have another one on the lot you could have switched out for instead since you actually hadn't taken delivery?

The damage was minimal, just a simple panel replace. I did continue with the walk thru, which I will do again. It was cold and windy when I went to pick up, so I was really ok with leaving it that day.

I am sort of not looking forward to towing it. I have towed my pop-ups, I have towed a toy hauler, and a hybrid TT, I just don't like the taller RVs to tow.

But I know I will conquer that as well. Just a matter of time and patience. Trying to plan my first outing. I will be taking it to Daytona in March, but before that I want to take it out and test things out for myself, someplace local.

Congratulations on the new rig and welcome to the Forum. What part of Georgia are you in? Great state parks all around and some have sewer hookups. We like Georgia Veteran's State Park out of Cordele.

Actually, we have just started a quest to visit as many Georgia SP's as possible. So far we have camped in 4 or 5 and have reservations for 2 more this year.
So far they have all been winners.

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.

Thanks again everyone for the warm welcomes.
Georgia camping is pretty good. I have camped at a lot of Georgia SPa. Some better than others.

The great thing about GA SPa is that they have something for everyone. If you like mountains, we have them. If you like water, we have it. If you like canyons, we have them. If you like swamps we have it. Something for everyone.

I have done a few Florida SPa too. I have a couple of favorites there too.

Haven't done too much COE, but it is on my list. Check all of these United States are on my list now.

I'm a little upset today. CW originally told me two weeks for repairs, now they are saying mid Feb before parts arrive. I am not at all happy. Considering having them order me a new TT, this delay is all their fault. I am just glad I never took delivery of unit, in damaged state.
