Hi from NE Ohio, new camper here!

Hi all! Just wanted to say this forum has been a huge help with many of my thousands of questions in our search for a TT. We bought a 1986 Sunline Satellite in July from our uncle, solely for the seasonal site it was on (years-long waiting list in a little privately owned campground). while it's in pretty good shape, we QUICKLY discovered it wouldn't do for me, my 6'5" hubs, and our 120lb dog. Poor hubs has to put his feet in the bathtub to sit on the toilet! We came across a 2010 Jayco Eagle 322 FKS in immaculate condition, used in a permanent campsite. We had considered a new Keystone Springdale, but after listening to the salesman (family owned, started by his dad) list all the specific reasons why an Eagle is better constructed, and reading a bunch of reviews, we think this will work very well as, basically, our weekend home in summer. I'm not thrilled with the light carpet throughout with a long haired black dog, but it seems it will be an easy fix if we want to change the flooring. I'm also looking at ways to modify the window treatments, as I feel they are a bit dated, so I have been searching for advice. I'm a little bummed that we will be opening our new camp, just to close it in a month when the campground closes. So essentially we will be learning all about it all at once! fortunately the dealer has stressed that they are willing to help with any and all questions. Anyway, it looks like you all have a great, supportive community here, and I'm glad to be here! ~Christa
