Hi from Troy, NY

My name is Evelyn. We are from Troy, NY and own a 2008 Melbourne B+. We have had Big Bertha for 3 years now and I am quickly learning to do everything since my husband is a disabled veteran and it is hard for him to help me much. Nothing like on the job training, but Bertha is now mine and my confidence grows every time I have to do something new (I actually climbed all the way onto the roof for the first time this year- and didn't fall off!!!). We bought our RV, after the last kid left home, because we have 4 dogs and traveling without them is expensive (boarding fees are outrageous) and it's no fun to leave them behind. We all really enjoy spending time on the road, when we do get to go out.
I have not been happy with our dealer since we bought our RV- they have the worst customer service I have ever seen- and hopefully I will have better luck coming here when I need help! And since I am still fairly new at this, I ALWAYS need help!!!

Welcome to the forum, Evelyn. The fine folks of this forum will be glad to help with your questions. Enjoy your MH and the forum, and thanks to your husband for his service.

Here is a Past/Present military roll call thread we have to honor them:
