Howdy

Hello all!

The family and I just picked up our first travel trailer about 2 weeks ago after a 2 month wait on Jayco to build it, but we are so far satisfied with the purchase.

We picked up a 2012 Jay Flight 26RLS and tow it with a 2009 GMC Sierra Crew Cab, 5.3L with 6sp transmission and 3.55 locking rear diff.

I grew up around campers most of my life and look forward to affording the same opportunities to my kids.

Look forward to learning and providing any additional support I can to the forum community. My first project is a conversion of my J-steel sofa to a pull out sleeper. Apparently, this was a new option in the 26RLS for the 2012 model, but we (me and the dealer) were unaware of the available options when it was ordered during the last week of June. It will be an add-on to the existing sofa, I will not be replacing.

Stay tuned!

James
