Let the wait begin!!!!!

Hello all - newer member finally joined the Jayco family! We placed a deposit on our Eagle HT 29.5bhds today, dealer say's 8-12 weeks. Let's hope it's closer to the 8 weeks. Got what I believe to be a good deal with our options from Keystone RV in Greencastle, PA. Somewhat nervous having never towed a 5'r, have been in TT's up to this point. I am thankful for all the knowledge on this forum and look forward to learning even more.

Congratulations on the new 5'r. We endured the wait last year. It was worth it!

Practice backing that 5'r. It is WAY different than a TT.

Time goes real slow between ink and 1st pull but you now have JOF to read, ask questions and learn. I predict you'll enjoy towing the 5er.

Welcome and congrats on the new memory maker.

ShaneO,

I have had an Eagle 323LKTS 5er on order since the first week in December. Just this past week the dealer checked with Jayco and they said the line was switching to Eagle's mid February and I probably won't see mine till mid March. Which is okay as long as it's in my possession by April. We are making reservation starting in mid April which is early here in MN. Does this apply to the HT's? I'm thinking it might.

Our dealer did say this is the time of year Jayco starts producing units for upcoming RV Show Season, but wasn't sure when the Eagle HT would be on the line. Our hope is to have it by April as well. The dealership said March is a likely scenario so we shall see.

Congratulations and welcome! As oldmanAZ suggests, practice backing, it is very different from a TT. We're new to a 5er too, and I definitely need more practice.

congratulations on your new 5er if you can get your book from the dealer and learn all you can. that way you well no what the dealer is talking about during the walk through.
when you get used to backing a 5er you will see how much easier it is then a tt

We are waiting too but have read the manual online. We put it on a thumb drive for compact reference during travel
