Long Time Camper, 3rd Jayco

Hi everyone,

my wife and I are longtime campers. As we married and raised our 3 kids, we moved from tent, to small pop-up, to large pop-up, to 1st Jayco Kiwi, then Shamrock quad-bunk, then 2nd Jayco 254 hard queen bed slide, and now downsized to our 3rd Jayco, a 2014 19RD.

We spend about 30 days a year from April to November, with a 2 wk trip somewhere in the middle of the summer. We camp mostly in New England, but have been as far south as Shenandoah Valley, as far west as Niagara Falls, and as far north as Price Edward Island.

I have some questions about this latest Jayco and joined the site here to learn, share and hoepfully contribute from my past mistakes and successes.

Wow, that sure is a lot of RV'ing you've done over the years! Congrats and welcome to the forum. We're from the opposite end of the continent. We hope to get up your way some day with our TT. We've been to New England before without an RV but haven't been to PEI. One place I would like to see for sure. Have fun with your latest Jayco and happy adventures.
