Looking forward to a great 2013!

Last summer after two years of camping just being a father/son only event my lovely wife broke down and came with us to Redfish Lake near Stanley, ID. After three beautiful days and two cold nights sharing a site with my brother-in-law, sister-in-law and two nephews that are like brothers to my son, my wife came to me and admitted that camping in a camping trailer wasn't as bad as she thought it would be. That was the start of a great summer with two other camping trips to Cascade, ID. All this in a 1968 Bell camping trailer with just the basics.

We began talking about all the possibilities that open up with camping and here we are five months later the owners of a new 2013 Jayco Swift 264BH with plans to take at least two major trips this summer and multiple weekend outings. I find myself looking for all the new places to get out and explore. I can't wait to get out and share the experiences I had growing up with my wife and son.

welcome raputman, I tell evryone that its the only way to camp. If its to hot, on comes the AC, if its to cold, on comes the furnace. Never have to worry about about a wet sleeping bag in a tent. My wife and I plan to cross Canada when we retire in a few years from East to West then cross the US from West to East.

Good luck with your new adventure

As others said, WELCOME. I noticed how you spoke of one common thread in your introduction... FAMILY. That's what it's all about, and when the Honey is on board, it makes it that much better. Congratulations.
