Me, Hubs, the Dog and a 17z

Hello everyone. I have been reading this board for weeks and thought it was about time I introduced myself.

I am Gayle, Hubs is Jud, and we have a Golden Retriever named Belle.

We have been tent campers for years, and honestly never thought we would get a trailer. However, we are now active showing our dog and there are so many times that we have to travel to a show, and stay in a lousy hotel, that we decided that we would get a unit so we could camp at the Dog Show sites. Though in addition, we are now planning many, many non-dog show trips that I know we are going to enjoy tremendously.

After all these years in a tent, roughing it, I am sure we are going to feel that we are staying at the Ritz!

After really looking at loads of trailers and Hybrids, we found that the 17z really fits what we need, what we want to do, and the towing capacity of our Astro Van. We found a great deal on a new 2012, and will be picking up the rig in two weeks. We are very excited about it, and can't wait to take it out!

Great to have found this board, and I look forward to conversing with all of you!

Welcome, we take our Lab everywhere with us and he's so much more comfortable in the camper knowing he has his own place, it really helps keep the stress lower with the dogs.

Thanks for the greetings Nylon! I know it will be much more comfortable camping in a trailer with Belle than staying in a hotel with her

Welcome to the world of camping off of the ground. I hope you enjoy your 17Z as much as I do mine.
