My second "New" introduction.

Hello again,

Over a year ago, I joined in order to gather information. I was beginning to look around at new trailers. During the mean time, I was also trying to sell my then current Skyline Koala 21CS.

I finally sold it, and have since bought and picked up my brand new 2017 Jayco Jay Flight 23RB. It is the first brand new RV of any kind I've ever owned. I'm excited so far.

After getting it home today and safely in the driveway, I noticed something strange. With no stabilizer jacks down, the trailer doesn't hardly move when we walk around in it.

Of course, before we take it out again, I'm going to make the front pass through storage, and the under bed storage like it want it to be, and not like Jayco wants it to be. I'm going to completely enclose the exterior pass through storage, and make the under bed storage completely sealed off from the pass through storage.

Other wise, I'm very happy so far.

I had earlier seen the work you did on the bed platform. That where I got my idea from. I'll use your pictures as guides. Question? What is that place that looks like a secret opening in the permanent bed floor?

There's an inverter mounting panel underneath the secret door. Just a way to look at or inspect inverter by sliding the mattress back. You can see a picture of the mounting panel in post 148 in the pass through. May be a useless idea but it's there for now.

Sorry about the picture being upside down. Is there any way to turn it around? It's right side up in my pictures on my computer. I've used the same picture in other places and it comes out right side up.

Thanks. An inverter is something I don't have and don't anticipate having so that's a step I will pass on. I'm going to try to remember to take pictures as I go along, in order to show what I've done also.

One thing I found on my 23RB was huge air gaps at the head of the bed. Light was pouring through, and therefore cold air would come pouring through as well as any critter that got in the "cargo hold".
