Thumbs down Need help with new Designer 35 RLSA

Have a new 2010 jayco 35 RLSA designer and having problem with front jack motor blowing fuses. Works fine extending and retracting but blowing 30 amp fuse when traveling or parked. Any ideas???

Also very disappointed in trailer to date. Picked trailer up July 9 and have the following problems to date.

front jack motor blowing fuses
water leak rear air conditioner
fan motor needs replaced bathroom
cable satellite conectors need tightened
kitchen slide kicking in and out when retracting
ceiling light globe falling off when traveling
dining table came completely un screwed from floor

This all happened from July 9 thru July 29 while on a trip.

Hi Hagp12 and welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum! Wow you certainly have a substantial list of concerns to take in to dealer for your first warranty visit. Hope it all gets fixed on the first try. There are several other Designer owners out there that will let you know how things are going for them.

Thanks for the welcome. Hope you are not having the problems I have had. Just got back after 3 weeks on the road and am ready to hit the road again.

Hagp12...sorry 'bout your luck. Sounds like you got a 'Friday trailer'. Most of those look like pretty easy fixes that your dealer should take care of without too much of a hassle.

Overall, in comparison to some of the other brands out there, Jayco does seem to be pretty good but there have been some difficulties lately. I really hope that these will be the last of the problems for awhile!

I've heard about the landing gear fuse problem on the RV Open Roads Forum. Your dealer should be able to correct your issues. It's nice having 2 year warranty.
