New 2016 BHBE

Hi everyone,

We are new Jayco owners, just learning the ropes. We purchased our camper primarily for outer beach camping on the east end of Long Island. No hookups. We have had our share of " learning experiences", so any tips are greatly appreciated. Any upgrades that make it more efficient or comfortable, I would love to hear about. So far I have decided the mattress needs to be replaced since I have not slept on our past 2 trips. But overall loving everything about our new purchase and looking forward to many short beach vacations.

Welcome aboard!

On this forum we call no hookups "boondocking". There is a whole section.

You may want to consider a small getset to keep up the battery against all the parasitic loads.
