New 24RKS owner

Hello all, found this site looking for a copy of the owners manual. I figured it would give me something to read while I waited for the season to start.

It is going to be a long wait till the end of March when I get my introductory course from the dealer, and tow it home.

This is the first TT i have ever owned, and I am sure I'll be picking your brains for ideas, suggestions and knowledge gained with experiance.

Towing with a new F150, (eco boost).

I am sure I have lots to learn, so thanks in advance for answering any dumb questions I may (more than likely will) come up with

Welcome to the JOF, radar67! The 24RKS looks like a nice layout. How do you like the EcoBoost?

Radar67,

Welcome to the Jayco forums , and smart move doing a little forum Q & A before towing your first TT off the RV dealership lot.

Just a thought, advise your RV dealership in advance that you will be preforming a detailed PDI (so they allow time), and if the weather is bad you would appreciate that the TT be brought inside (so not to be rushed).

Jump over into the "Jayco Travel Trailer" forum and ask any questions you like (never ran across a dumb question), lots of JOF members with great information.

Bob

First off thanks

So far the F150 has been great, haven't towed anything with is yet. Right nowit's getting just about 25 MPG (highway, no terrible for right out of the box). That about 11 liters per 100 km, for those of us north of the border. I'll be sure to post how it does towing, unless of corse the price of gas drops and nobody cares anymore....

Anyway the dealer has been great, and they do have a large indoor spot to go over all the details, once I pick it up. I do expect the weather to be terrible when I get it, why wouldn't it be, it snowed when we picked up the truck, and snowing all day deciding on ther trailer. Atleast the dealers web site helped narrow down the choices.

the layout of the 24RKS works for us, it's just the two of us and we are always going somewhere....
