New camper owner- New to site

My husband and I just bought an old Jayco 5th wheel. It is a 1987 Designer series. It was in pretty rough shape.
We have spent the last 4 weeks tearing out to the studs. Replaced several studs, ceiling joists, most of the sub floor in the cabin area, new bead boarding on the walls, new ceiling. Patched and painted the bedroom and bathroom. I have re-upholsteried all upholstery and made new curtains throughout the camper. He has made and installed new cabinets across the sink/stove wall and all across the back. It's looking soooo cute now..... We plan to take it out for the maiden voyage this coming weekend. The cabinets are not yet complete, but close enough....
Our range hood is not working at all.
Does anyone know how we can get an exact replacement? This one has guages for the fresh water, grey water and holding tank to the right and buttons for test, light, fan and pump. Can send pictures if anyone thinks they might know where I might get one.

Welcome to the forum! Would also like to see some pics -- even build pics along the way would be cool.

On the vent hood - call Jayco - they might be able to supply it or give you the make/model.

Welcome to the forum, looks like you have been busy but it will be worth it on your first trip. I saw the picture of the hood in your profile, good luck with your search. Where do you call home?

Great Pics! Wow - that was quite an undertaking. Nice to see a trailer that old back on the road and in good shape again. I bet you get many more enjoyable years out of it.

Here is the direct link to the album -- 1987 Jayco 5th wheel remodel
