New from Boston

Hello all

My family is looking to purchase a bunkhouse TT and after much research, I have decided that it will be a Jayco.

So I am hear to learn about them an hopefully get the right one the first time. We like the 32 TSBH, we are looking to take long cross country trips so weight and monuverabilty is a concern. We will be towing with a diesel Excursion. 2 adults, 4 kids and all the fixings.

Thanks all

Ted

Ted. Lots of good threads here about towing weight, how to calculate GVW and load distribution.

Lots of good stuff on everything you can imagine about owning an RV as well..... Some you would never have though of too.....

Have fun.... Stop in Colorado....

Welcome to the Forum. From Somerville, MA here. Were are you purchasing from? Make sure you make it up to Forrest Marine in Tyngsboro. They are wonderful to deal with.

Make that three for Forest Marine !!!! Bruce and Derek are the best. We bought our first trailer from RV direct. Soon we came to realize that we should have bought larger. We visited many local dealers. Every dealer that we went to told us how much better they were than the next dealer and some salesmen badmouthed the competition. When we mentioned RV Direct one dealer even said that they wouldn't service us if we didn't buy from them and others said they would take care of all of "their" customers first and then others second. When we visited Forest Marine, Bruce talked with us and explained the pros and cons of each type of camper from pop-ups to fifth wheels. Bruce even told us if we ended up buying from RV Direct he would want us to get service from him. Not once did he badmouth the competition. He then came close to a quote we received from RV Direct. For us it was a no-brainer we bought from Bruce and are extremely happy with delivery as well warranty service we have received after the purchase.
