new from Montana

Hi I just bought a 2013 jay flight 19RD and am now full-time in it. I've never owned a travel trailer so this is a brand new experience for me. I'm not retired and plans for work are up in the air right now. I make and sell jewelry plus collect and sometimes sell rocks. I basically am based out of Helena, Montana but I plan on traveling around some mostly in the western US. I don't know how often I'll be on the forum but wanted to at least introduce myself. There is so much to learn I'll probably be busy searching through posts on here for a while.

Hey, welcome to the forum! and welcome to full time RVing!

We are not yet full-timers but during the 6 months of non-winter we get here, we are basically travelling gypsies in our Jay Flight (for work and pleasure) much like you are now. We just got back from a week on the road and each time ask ourselves, what is the point of having a house? (When its summer we don't want to be here, we want to be in the trailer... come winter we don't want to be here, would rather be somewhere with a warmer climate (and camping)).

You'll be really happy with your Jay Flight. They are built solid. With a little maintenance it should last you a long time. We've used ours a lot and that's one thing I have noticed is it's a nice solid build compared to other trailers I have been in.

Thanks

Thanks for the welcome. Glad to know the trailer is built solid. So far it has done well even in the cooler temperatures we've been having lately. I made sure I got one with heated enclosed underbelly. I've had it since the middle of April so we'll see how it goes.
