New from Saskatchewan

Maiden voyage this long weekend in new Jayco Feather 16XRB. Former Starcraft tent trailer owners. Wow! Couldn't be happier! Just not used to overhead cabinets so have a few bruises

Question for 16XRB owners: what do you use as a tow vehicle? We currently have a 2006 Highlander Hybrid (3500# with tow package). Considering a 4Runner. Any experiences with either TVs?

Much appreciate your thoughts.

Those overhead cabinets really do help with fine tuning your spacial awareness. Congrats on your new Jayco and happy camping.

Looking at numbers you might be close with the 3500 # towing capacity of the Highlander. Looks like the 4-Runner has a 5000# towing capacity. My last camper with my first tow vehicle had about a 25# difference in trailer weight and towing capacity and I had a rough time with hills and grades. Just something to keep in mind.
