New from Texas

Hello all,

I'm not a Jayco owner, yet. However I am very interested in a new Jayco Travel trailer. I'm currently looking at the 28DSBH and the 28BHKS models. I will retire in 187 days... yes, I am counting... and would like a bit more room over the current Surveyor trailer I'm camping in. I am torn between these 2 models and a Winnebago Ultra Lite 28DDBH. All are very similar floor plans. I'm an experienced RVer and a licensed aircraft mechanic (A&P), and I generally do my own repairs. I am currently employed in the IT department of a large railroad, and have been in communications for many years. Hopefully I can be of some help with questions that others have and, hopefully some of you can help me when I get stumped. Thanks in advance...

Safe travels!

Jack

Weatherford? The bride and I have spent the week in a park (Coffee Creek RV) about 20 mi down I-20. We're in the area to visit the Wine-fest in Granbury and also attended the peach fest in W'ford last year. Both are really interesting towns that have re-invented themselves since the building of the Interstates.
Welcome to JOF!
