new guy

hello all, new guy here came accross the site while i was trying to light the pilot in my 2014 26BH

anyways i always like forums so here i am, just doing some forced winter camping right now, no power or heat in the house thanks to a huge ice storm in ontario so i bought a generator and we are hanging out in the trailer, too bad for the lack of running water tho

Welcome to the forum. Which pilot are you trying to light?

Welcome to the JOF from Northeast Ohio. Light the stove before you light any of the other appliances, it will make things much easier by bleeding some of the air from the gas lines.

You have to push and hold the knob in and hold a match/lighter under the pilot. It will not light instantly or stay lit, it must warm up some to stay lit so you have to hold the match there a few seconds after it lights. Its easier with two people, one holding in the knob and one holding the match/lighter.
