New guy

Hi everyone, just wanted to say quick hello and thank everyone for all of the information provided in this forum. It has helped me tremendously over the past several months.

We were new to RVing but jumped in with both feet by purchasing our White Hawk and then taking a 45 day trip across the country and into Alaska. The trailer was awesome and we give it very high marks. Total mileage was 11,000 miles.

If your interested in pictures and my endless babble, go to Pekrul's Alaskan Adventure

Welcome to JOF! Gracious, you jumped in big time with an inaugural trip to Alaska! Good to hear it was successful.
Have you had any problems with your rig? Its comforting to hear some positive stories. Please share if you will.

Thank you for the welcome to the forum!

Norty1-we had very few problems with the White Hawk. In fact, we had zero problems with any of the trailer systems at all. Everything worked and continues to operate as it should. We took some rock hits to the trailer that caused damage to the low point drain valve, the light cover to the light by the trailer tongue, and the diamond plating covering the lower part of the trailer looks like it went through ****. And it did. Those that have made the trip know that some of the stretches of the Alaskan Highway are less than desirable, but that said, we did not get one flat tire either on the tv or the tt.

I'm taking the rig into the dealership this month to inspect and perform maintenance on the axles. I will also replace all the tires this fall, as they were worn down from the trip.
