New Guy

Hi all, the wife and I will be picking up our 195rb baja tomorrow. The trailer size is perfect for the 2 of us and the weight will be perfect for our 2016 tacoma TRD OR tow vehicle. Our Max tow rating is 6400 and about 1100 Max payload. Looking forward to learning some TT mods, safety and maintenence.

I've put a tekansha P3 and firestone ride rites with daystar cradles to help the little truck manage to load. The dealer wanted 700 bucks for the WDH install so I'll be doing that myself once I get it home.

Thanks for the welcome! The camper has been ready for pickup since this morning but I work 48 hour shifts so won't be able to take delivery till the morning. The Wife and I are pretty excited and I'm getting a little stir crazy thinking about it!!!!

Does this forum have build threads where owners can document and share their maintenence, modification ect? I didn't see a specific section and was wondering if it's appropriate to start one here?

Yes - there is a "Jayco Mods" section - look for it in the "Jayco Tech and Tow" section about half-way down the main page.
