New guy from Alabama

Hi I just purchased a 2008 Jayco Recon. I plan to use primarily when hunting. This is my first 5th wheel so I have some learning to do.

Welcome to JOF There are loads of knowledgeable folks here that will try and answer any questions you have.

That's a nice looking rig, sure seems a waste for a hunting trailer in some ways, not in others. Are you going to pull it or leave it sitting?

Recon

I plan to keep it garaged when not being used. This RV is perfect for my needs because it gives me complete independence to camp in far off remote locations. I like the solitude of nature and being the only person around for many miles. I don't camp at places that are crowded or where the next camper is just a few feet away. It certainly will not be a waste and plan on getting many good years of enjoyment.

Another member from Alabama ... Welcome.

I will be changing my location info on this site in a few days back to my Alabama home base. I is amazing how fast a 4 month host position is over. 9-20-2015 I'm heading north. I just hope I miss most of the love bugs since a good front washing isn't my favorite immediately after arriving.
