New guy from Washington, Left Coast

Hello everyone I am new to this forum and live in Eastern Washington State.

My wife and I just purchased a 2015 Jayco Jay Flight 27RLS. The local dealer just took on the complete Jayco line and had this unit on their lot. We really like the layout and are looking forward to getting out in it. This trailer is replacing our 1996 35 foot Pace Arrow motorhome. 1st RV 1967 Aloha 15ft. We both work full time but get out and go often.

Most of our adventures are done here in the Northwest at or above the 45th parallel. In all of the decades of using an RV, there has been only a handful of times that an A/C unit was needed. Good to have for that rare occasion though. Years of snowmobiling in an RV were among the most enjoyable times we have had. Travel on snow and ice is great when setup properly. Dry camping or dispersed, is still what we enjoy most and the 82 gallon water capacity will be great in this trailer. The shake down trip will be close to home. Lions Ferry on the Snake River next weekend is only 87 miles away and hopefully won’t turn up any big surprises in the new trailer.

I have been reading the threads in this forum for the last couple of weeks. It never ceases to amaze me how much more there is to learn about something I have been doing for so many years.

Welcome and congrats on your new TT. We are planning a trip to the west coast this summer and will be travelling back home through your area. Looking forward to getting back in the TT as it has been a long cold winter here so far.

Welcome RMWA from Tennessee, native and grew in Walla Walla. your pix of the trailer looks like the one my sister has over in Walla 2...she is a member of a local group that have vintage trailers. Miss my Snake and Columbia Rivers.

Congratulations on the new TT (excellent choice, by the way - our 27RLS should be built soon) and welcome to the forum.

DW and I have been in your part of the country a few times. We hope to get back there in the near future.
