Unhappy new guy who needs help

Hello from Augusta, GA Jayco owners. I am JackH612
new owner from October 2015
31 Precept 2015

I have been having problems getting warranty work completed by CSRA Camperland of Augusta. They say the parts are broken or bent when the arrive from Jayco. I have contacted Jayco service and they tell me they are working on it. Is this a common problem for owners of Jayco products? This is our first motorhome so we are newbies. Any help would be appreciated.

It's also a very busy time of year I think, where, lots of "new" RVs are being sold and prep'd and lots coming out of winter storage. It's a tough time of year to get RV work done quickly.

That's been my experience here in Colorado.

I've not seen many comments about delays with parts

We just got our Precept in April. Anything that had to have warranty work from Jayco was a several week turn around time. One of the air vents in the cockpit was broken when we took delivery the first week of April. We just got the replacement this week. 1 month later. Any of the other issues with the furnace or the tankless water heater were pretty immediate only because the parts came from those manufacturers and not Jayco.

jhayes612 - the previous 2 comments are consistent with my experience too. Between the dealer being backed up and potential delay in getting parts in from Jayco, it can take several weeks. Also note, Jayco closes down a week for company-wide employee vacation around the 4th of July and my understanding is very little if anything ships as they have a very skeleton staff.
